Over the years, when I have asked for specific outcomes, many of them from the desire for immediate resolution and instant gratification, it should have been no surprise that they did not manifest! And yet, I thought that just by asking that it would flow to me.
Many years ago in my undergraduate studies there was a gentleman with whom I shared a deep affinity for music and the arts, it grew into a romance, and we were headed towards a committed relationship. He had an offer to move with a job out-of-state. Since I was still in school and had only a year left, I chose to stay and finish my degree. He and I talked about me moving when I had graduated to be in the same state and share a home together. We did the long distance relationship, but as time passed, and our commitment to communication frequency shifted, we grew apart, and he and I made the decision to go our separate ways.
He and I both moved on, he met the love of his life and had a beautiful daughter with her. I met the love of my life and have a wonderful child of my own. Looking back on it, I can see that he was called away at just the right moment in our relationship. It was for the best and highest good for both of us, but at the time it was one of the hardest things in my life to see him pack up his car and leave the state.
I share this with you, to let you know that as badly as we WANT something or someone, the Divine may have something better planned for you. If you and I learn to release our expectations for a specific outcome to Spirit, it opens up the matrix for the grand plan!
Let's think of it like a house. You want the 2 bedroom rambler, you pray for it, work on manifesting it, and nothing. Spirit has a mansion set aside for you, but this can only become a reality if you release your limited expectations to the Divine! Which would you rather reside in, the small and restrictive rambler or the marble pillared estate?
If we release our self-serving Ego and neediness to Source and ask for the gifts of the Spirit in their stead, miracles happen, and we go from mundane to amazing! It is said that if you love something and let it go, if and/or when it comes back to you it is meant to be in your life. I believe this is true.
For if you are holding someone to a dream that is yours, especially if they do not share it, you are limiting at least two people! Limiting two lives from being free to BE whom they are supposed to be in this life. Two people are being held from learning their life lessons. Two people are being locked into something that may be akin to being on a hamster wheel rather than moving forward and growing.

Divine timing involves many people and circumstances. For instance, my cousin whom now lives in England, met her husband when she went over on a visa to study acting. They met in an acting class, and both knew that she had been drawn to London for a reason. They are now married with a son, and very happy together. The Divine had a reason for encouraging her to study in London. She not only felt the calling, she acknowledged it and chose to follow the calling!
When Divine timing calls you, the flow will feel easy and natural. You will feel compelled to find your wings and fly with the winds of change! Spirit comes underneath us with her air currents and carries us places far greater than you or I could ever imagine.
My Friends, if you find yourself on a hamster wheel waiting for a particular relationship or result to manifest try this today.
I release my expectations for outcome in this situation.
I claim and manifest the Divine timing that is in the best and highest good of all concerned.
I accept the gifts of the Spirit, even if I do not understand the greater picture now or in the immediate future. Amazing things will happen!
I recognize that part of me wants instant gratification
& that instant gratification may not be in my best interest.
I have faith that the right outcome will occur
& will go with Divine flow & act as Spirit prompts me to do.
I thank you God/Angel/Source for all of the abundance in my life
& for my many blessings.
I claim and manifest this NOW!
Do this every time that you find yourself 'stuffing the ballot box full of only your votes.' For it is not an authentic win for you to do so, Dear Ones.
Leave room for the ballots of your Angels/Guides/Spirit/Source to cast their vote on the outcome of your life.
